- We will not publish any blog entries that discriminate anyone on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, political beliefs, nor would we publish any blog entries that can be construed as hate-speech or incite violence.
- All submissions should be Pakistan-related.
- Blog entry submissions should be from 200 to 1000 words and should be your own original work.
- We will not publish any blog entries that are written to promote the author, a product, or a company (anything that could be construed as promotional blog). You are, however, welcome to add a backlink to your own blog/ website at the end of your submission.
Comments:
- You must be registered with our site to post comments.
- We will not publish any comments that discriminate anyone on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, political beliefs, nor would we publish any comments that can be construed as hate-speech or incite violence.
- We will also not publish any comments that are not relevant to a particular blog entry, have unnecessary URLs, or can be construed as a personal attack against the author of a particular blog entry.
Advertisements:
All ad revenues will be applied to the costs of maintaining Pakistaniaat: A Journal of Pakistan Studies, which is a free, open access scholarly journal and this blog. Provided below are our ad acceptance policies and current rates:
- We reserve the right to accept/ reject ads according to our editorial policies.
- We commit to displaying the accepted ad at the right place and for the duration promised.
Types of Ads:
We can provide different kind of ad spaces on our website:
Banner ads: The banner will be displayed in the top right corner of our website, above the navigation menu, and should be 250px wide and 80px high. You will have to provide us the banner.
- Regular: $30/month.
- Bulk Rate: $20/month (with a minimum three-month commitment).
Right Column ads: These ads will be displayed in the right sidebar of our blog starting from the top. We can link the image to an actual website where the product is being sold.
- Top image: $25/month
- Second from Top: $20/month
- Third from Top: $15/month
Right Column Image + A Blog Entry
We can link the image to a blog entry on our own website where you can provide additional product details with unlimited number of links to third-party websites where the product is available.
- Rates: $30.00/month.
Footer Ads:
The footer ads will be in the form of a clickable image or a text box with product description and a web address.
Rate: $10/month.
Bulk Order Rates:
We are also open to give you a special rate if you decide to place bulk ads or commit to advertise regularly on our website. Please contact us (pakistaniaat@gmail.com) to sort out the details.
